5 GENERATION OF MALAYSIAN

Something Interesting to Share which i got from the Smart Parenting Seminar...

The Baby Boomers Generation:

 baby born after or around malaysia independent year. its call baby boom because after the independent year there are so many baby were born like "BooM!!".

generasi ini adalah generasi Cikgu Bolian...

Most this generation adalah mereka yang taat dan patuh... tarak berani mau memberontak... banyak sabar punya generasi.

 Why they need need to be 'taat dan patuh'? 

because their future (in 80's era) is industrial era which need the 'taat dan patuh' character. need to respect this generation because they have high integrity and honour. strong jati diri and the one who can sacrifice anything in order to develop better world for the next gen...

The X generation

baby born in 60's or 70 era...

most of their characters are like the baby boomers with a good innovative skill. they make the industrial era turn into the modern living era.... that why they can make our world today simply simple with all the techno. (Thank you x-gen). generasi ini suka rebel... tapi dalam hati dan belakang-belakang jer.... have high respect to the elders. love to do research and very workaholic...high survival.... (aiman tak kisah punya bahaviour sikit... asalkan dapat hidup baik). because they are high survival, they always notice opportunity even the small one. they are the one who took Malaysia further to the number one class country in the world (climb mount everest lah... belayar dunia lah... berenang selat melaka lah... ni diorang penya kerja). ha ha... generasi malaysia boleh!!

The Y Generation...

baby born in 80's or 90's (its Me)

why its call Y generation...?

because this is the generation full of Why Why question.  

this generation have been mutation very much in knowledge... they have logical minded (tu yang banyak kes dok persoal hukum hakam Tuhan...) that why they have the baby boomers as their parents cause baby boomers are very patient... (nak layan why why Q)

this generation is the world balance... as they were solving all the problems making by baby boomers and the x-gen (industrial time --- pollutions and whatever.... ) This generation are well educated and have been train to success not to fail.... this could tell that the Y gen future is to balance and re-correct / repair the world.... (is it??). because of this gen is so liberal and logical minded (always seek the truth), they are very out spoken dan rebel secara terang-terangan but with fact and logical reasons (that why pemimpin sekarang pening kepala nak handle young generation, gen Y punya angkara la nih...)

The Z Generation

 around the Y2K...

Their parent were the X gen...

very techno savvy. very open minded and have great negotiation skills.... very good in making excuse and reasoning. high tolerate. this show that their future is 'dunia tanpa sempadan world'. border is meaningless. that why they need to be tolerance and good nego skill... as in that time they need to live in border less world with dynamic race and culture blend each other  (is it???).

u  can easily notice the gen Z as the example below (actually always happen to nowadays kid)

Ibu: faris/abang pergi mandi

faris: nanti abang mandi lah... nak habis kan ultraman ni sekejap (develop a nego).

Ibu: sekaranglah... kejap lagi dah gelap...

Faris: iiiyeee... ibu janganlah risau. abang mesti mandi punya. ultraman ni dah nak habis dah (further the nego).

Ibu: tak boleh ibu kata sekarang.

Faris: Ibu... ibu suruh lah angah mandi dulu... (nego by making another option) 

Ibu: Sekarang faris!!! (sudah marah)

Faris: Ok..Ok (tollerate). tapi ibu janji kalau abang mandi sekarang kejap lagi abang boleh tengok Ben 10. ibu jangan marah... (develop another nego)

Ha ha!! now u see the relevant..... we always seen this happen isn't?? :) 

The milllenea babies

Nowadays baby... (aiesyah generation). 4 years (some of them), 3 years and below (most of them)

as they have the Y-gen as their parents (have been train to success by the baby boomer), this generation is 'rock heart-ed' generation and refuse to do any mistake... most of them can't or unable to receive comment or mistakes. They also refuse to accept other people do better then them. But  as they have the why why parents... they are good in taking reasons and explanation. this show in their future they need to have strong heart in order to make 'one world' unite... (is it??)

ha... now i know why aiesyah sangatlah bulat hati...(if she say yes that mean yes... and if she say no it mean no with no further negotiation, dan sangatlah sensitif bila ditegur...)

 i thought only my daughter having the problem, but it seem that all the gen Y parents share the same pattern.  

ok. all the information is just a theory plus gossip sikit.  it is not a fact. but if u get through all the pattern... you see how great Allah is. He create us with very good, nice and relevant behaviors to face our future and our mission (i believe everyone have god mission, that why we have been chosen to born) ... i wonder... the generation after millenia babies will call what???

some parenting tips to face the millanea baby...

"tell them its ok to do mistakes. its nothing wrong making mistakes" 

Something interesting to think about...

Because The gen X had autocracy (kuku besi sikit) parents (the war babies)... its had made them to be great survival...and always seeks opportunity. and it made their children, the gen Z, also seek opportunity by  negotiation....

because the Gen Y had the Baby boomers who are very democracy... it made them very independent in thinking and seeking info. The gen Y have been pressured so much to be success... most of them put scoring (in education) and success as number one mission in their life. 
As the result their child have been mutate not to do mistakes (as their parent are not allowing themselve to do a mistake) and they refuse to accept other people do better. but because their parent are info seekers... they are good in taking explaination...

Are these patterns are "kebetulan"? or it is true that children behavior really geneticly mutate accordingly to parents behavior...?

So parents!!! behave yourselves...

" Adek Na ! salah ni... patut kamu buat cam ni...." - dengan muka kerut....
nenek (baby boomers) to Aiesyah (Millenia baby)
"oooo... ini silap sikit ni... tapi tak apa... satu kali lagi mesti Aiesyah boleh buat" - dengan muka penuh senyuman....

ha.. ha... time force us to change.
